New Auksuciai Foundation Board MemberIt is my privilege to announce that Mr. Gint Federas of Lafayette, California, has become a full member of the Board of Directors of the Auksuciai Foundation.The Foundation is headquartered in Burlingame, California and has the mission to serve in an advisory capacity assisting in the development of a model farm facility near Siauliai, Lithuania that allows participants from academia, business, government and the farm community to share information and technology regarding environmentally sound land management and commercial agricultural production practices, including forestry. Mr. Gint Federas has an extensive experience in management, in marketing and sales fields, in fundraising. Currently he is the President/CEO of Careside Medical LLC in Concord, CA. Prior to his current position he was CEO of Mr. Sandman, Inc.; Director of Business Development of AMS Indu stries/Fitting Image; Owner/General Manager of Sylvan Learning Center, and Key Account Manager of AT&T/Pacific Bell, all in California Mr. Federas is the current President of the Lithuanian-American Community in Northern California. He has served as President of this organization for eight of the last fifteen years. Mr. Federas received BS Biochemistry and BA Psychology degrees in 1976 at UCLA. In 2003 he received a Masters degree in Business Administration at St.Mary’s College, Moraga, CA. Mr. Federas is married and has two children.
